ChaLEAN Extreme and Turbo Fire

This is what you get when you let a four year old monkey boy pick your workout programs. He likes the ones with the girls best :)

I have not gotten out to run since Sunday. I am hoping that I will be able to tomorrow. Food has been pretty good., Higher carb and a bit of sugar today - but the sugar was in the form of craisins and a tsp of honey instead of the nutter butter bar that smelled so good...

I have done 2 days of CLX and 2 Turbo Fire HIIT workouts. I think I am going to do INSANITY too at least for January. Might as well go hardcore for the 4 weeks that I do not have anything else taking up my time.

    I've seen you over at PH and am so glad to see you have a blog. I am like you (from what I gather)....living out in the country with 2 littles,trying look and feel great and make it all happen on a shoestring, while working and studying. Whew! I keep trying to remind myself that I am so lucky to live out here, where I really can live closer to my true needs; fresh air, no traffic, gorgeous views and soil I can sink my hands into, and locally grown meats and produce (when I can afford them!). The weather here in the Pacific NW can really interfere with my walking and hiking, and this winter I've resorted to just jamming my shoes on my feet and telling the girls "I"ll be right back". Then I go out and, like an insane person, run up and down my driveway or skip, jumping as high as I can. Or I go stack firewood as fast as I can. It's pretty ridiculous, but it works! I get a bunch of fresh air in my lungs and some really good sprints. I'm thinking about trying some of the crossfit WODs and I considered PX90 for a while too. Good luck with your workouts and your new lifestyle! I have just started with all this (and have not been 100%), but am already loving this path. Here's to your health!
